Essential Click delivered a meticulously planned WordPress to Shopify site migration. Combining SEO best practice with enhanced website UX we enhanced the brands new website design, leveraging bespoke web functionalities to help boost revenue while maintaining the HANRO core look and feel.

HANRO has been manufacturing the finest underwear, lounge and leisurewear since the 1880's, enjoying a loyal customer following and holding the coveted status of being a premium luxury brand. 

 

The HANRO website didn't reflect this status with poor online customer experience, an outdated website and a very low conversion rate. 

​

The WordPress installation had been poorly implemented and frequently fell over making the site inaccessible, adding to customer and retail frustrations.

​

Essential Click planned, migrated and delivered a new Shopify platform which once launched immediately started showing results. New customer conversion accelerated fast, the site was able to scale to volume and year-on-year sales increased by 190%.

The new site was built with the core focus of enhanced customer experience and delivering the expected HANRO premium luxury brand service from first click to item delivery. 

​

Implementing a strategy of engaging relevant traffic from SEO, PPC and referral sites we were able to focus on optimising conversion funnels, delivering an 18% increase in onsite conversion.

 

Using Shopify as the backend supplier we were able to establish a new inventory strategy that was easy to manage saving hours per day in staff time and streamlining inventory management.

Pre and Post migration SEO was key to ensure no link juice to the old site was lost along with focussing on pushing the new site's SEO strategy.

​

Being a Klaviyo email partner, we quickly implemented an email strategy, walking the brand through email hardening and managing the flow to engage relevant traffic.
